Mark Daniel, Vice-President

Mark J. Daniel is a native Virgin Islander who has served his community as a Physical Education Teacher, Coach and Administrator in both the public and private sectors. A product of the US Virgin Islands public school system, Mark attended Kirwan Terrace Elementary School, Addelita Cancryn Junior High School and Charlotte Amalie High School.  Growing up on St. Thomas, he was a member of the Boy Scouts, the Apostolic Faith Church Youth Group, played a variety of sports and was a member of the marching, concert and jazz bands during his tenure at CAHS. As an adult, Mark has served in various youth based non-profit organizations working to develop the minds of the future leaders of our community. Over the years, Mark has accepted more of a leadership role within these organizations as he is presently the Vice Present of both the St. Thomas/St John Interscholastic Athletic Association, and the St. Thomas/St. John Volleyball Federation.  Mark also works with the Zero Tolerance Basketball Organization.  Mark has also coached numerous teams at All Saints Cathedral School, Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, Charlotte Amalie High School and Antilles School. He has also coached multiple USVI National volleyball teams including the Virgin Islands boys’ team that won the 2012 Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association Youth Volleyball Championship.  He is also an active member of Tropical Eloquence Toastmaster’s Club and a member of the Family of Faith AME Church.  He is the founder and director of In the Zone Athletic Club, a youth-based organization whose mission is to prepare, promote and provide opportunities for the student athletes of our community. 

Mr. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Sports Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Theology. He is currently the Athletic Director of Antilles School.
